Next, each item undergoes a detailed physical examination. Our appraisers inspect craftsmanship, settings, and condition using specialized tools, verify metals and gemstones, and authenticate each stone. We evaluate every gemstone by the four Cs — carat, cut, color, and clarity — and carefully note hallmarks or maker’s marks that can reveal historical or artistic significance.

Once the physical and gemological analysis is complete, we conduct extensive market research, reviewing comparable sales, auction records, and industry reports. This ensures that the value we determine is reflective of current market conditions, whether for fair market purposes, replacement valuation, or resale planning.

Finally, you receive a comprehensive appraisal report. This document details each item, including photographs, descriptions, and the final valuation. For estate settlements, legal purposes, or insurance coverage, this report provides a reliable, professional record of your jewelry’s value — offering reassurance and confidence in every decision.
